Environmental Policy

Ontario Drive & Gear Limited is committed to the continuous improvement and minimization of its impacts on the environment as a result of its actions and operations. In agreement with this policy statement, ODG complies with environmental legal requirements and conducts business in an environmentally responsible manner, with regard to the surrounding community. To further this policy, ODG shall:

• Comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations set out by federal, provincial and municipal governments and other requirements set out in internal documents or procedures.
• Utilize pollution prevention techniques such as material substitution, source reduction, recycling and other treatment or control technologies to eliminate or reduce emissions to the natural environment.
• Effectively communicate to ODG employees, suppliers, carriers, customers and the local community.
• Periodically review and demonstrate continuous improvement initiatives regarding ODG’s Environmental Management System (EMS).
