Uwe Odenwald is the owner of one of the northwestern United States’ most successful ARGO dealerships. When asked about how he discovered the vehicle that has given him so much business he says a friend showed him the ARGO on the internet and he was immediately smitten. Realizing the market potential for such a unique vehicle Uwe wasted no time in adding the ARGO to his already eclectic product mix. At his first trade show in Spokane, Washington. Uwe remembers the ARGO drawing quite the crowd and creating an even bigger buzz among the participants. As the show drew to a close and he returned to the dealership he found himself swamped with calls from people curious about the amphibious ARGO. As Uwe explains, “It’s no wonder the ARGOs generated so much attention. They are vastly superior to their competitors and they’re the only vehicle that floats. People had never seen a vehicle like that before!”
As one of only two ARGO dealers in the entire state, Uwe keeps over nine vehicles at a time in his busy showroom and says that he is constantly having to restock his inventory. Having already sold 7 vehicles in the past six months, Uwe believes that the interest for ARGOs is only going to go up. “I wish I had more time,” he says. “I’d go across the state and open up additional dealerships because I know that if they carried the ARGO, they would inevitably be successful”. Without a doubt, Uwe’s optimism is a clear indication that becoming an ARGO dealer is a smart decision.
