ARGO Avenger helps land surveyor to meet deadlines in 4 feet of snow
Sunday, February 12, 2006
This machine is hands down, undoubtedly the best piece of equipment to
have for working in deep snow. As you may remember we spent an entire
day getting snow machines with pup sleds unstuck just 200 ft from the
truck. Our oversized snowshoes still sunk 16 to 24 inches into the
snow. I am so glad we saw your Argo’s sitting out front of your shop.
I can honestly say that if it was not for the Argo we would have not
been able to complete the job until the snow melted. You just are not
able to survey and stake out a mile of road and walk in 4 ft. of snow.
It has made us happy as well as our client. Also thank you for working
late and getting us the tracks on the next day so we could get back to
work and not drive back to Green River. If you want to field test
something then let a Land Surveyor get his hands on it. I would say
this passes the field test. The only thing I wish could have happened
would have been other potential clients seeing us out there working
when the other surveyors were sitting in their trucks watching us drive
across the snow.
Thanks again Will Dolinar LSIT
